NIKAWA 118 is a high performance tow component epoxy adhesive. Due to its good adhesion strength, it can use to bond, seal and fill to a wide range of similar or dissimilar material such as wood, metal, concrete, fiberglass, glass, ceramic, marble, some plastic and etc. It also has high mechanical strength and thermal resistance as well as resistance to numerous chemicals and a range of climatic conditions. These superior performance characteristics have gained wide acceptance as materials of choice for a multitude of structural application and protective coatings.

NIKAWA 118
cure at room temperature after mixing the resin with hardener. Heating can considerably shorten the setting time. It cure without releasing moisture, solvent or other by products, so that it is 100% solid and consequently shrinkage stresses are minimized, resulting in a stronger and more durable bond.

Application Data:
i. Clean the substrate surface to ensure free from all contaminants
ii. Mix 2 part resin A and 1 part hardener B until even colour is achieved.
iii. Use a putty knife to apply the mixture onto the clean surface substrates.
iv. If use for coating, the best wetting time for the mixture is within 15 minutes.
v. The cure surface can be sanded after three hours but through cure is 24 hours.
vi. The equipments can be cleaned with xylene. thinner or nikawa solvent before the mixture is cure.
Note: Do not mix exceed at a time as the pot life will be shortened, caused by generation of exotherm.
